15 years of computer repair experience

A brief history of my experience and schooling. I started work at my first computer store when I was 15. I started off in sales and worked hard to learn as much as possible, within a year I was promoted to system builder which I did for an additional year. I left the first company I was with to move up to a Tech position at another computer store that would train me the rest of the way while going to college. I stayed with that company for a couple of years and learned a lot from the other techs there. I left that company to take a Head tech job at Computer Renaissance in downtown Seattle, I was the person in charge at this tech department and trained the techs from other Computer Renaissance's. It was a great place for experience as a head tech but the commute was the biggest downside. I left there after a couple of years for another Head tech position at a store closer to home. I stayed there for a couple years and learned I didn't care for the way most the computer stores I worked at ran their business.

I left that place to become the Head IT person for a large medical transcription company. I have been with them for about 5 years now. From the medical transcription company I met contacts like Doctors, Lawyers, Medical transcriptions, and more. I still am the Head IT person for the medical transcription company. My customers have been telling me for awhile now that I need to open my own store, so I did just that.
